BAM Tours
Tours are open to all full members of BAM, pillion passengers are welcome (passengers do not need to be BAM members). Most of these tours have been running for a number of years and are very popular, please note that they can get booked up very quickly.
About BAM Tours
• Tours are organised and led by experienced volunteer members, and include stays in excellent accommodation.
• Typically 1-2 nights away, though a few are longer.
• Regular destinations include Wales, South-West England, the North & Scotland.
• Occasionally there are tours in France & Spain
• All tours include carefully researched and planned routes on some of the best roads for motorcycling (usually avoiding motorways)
• The Tour Leader will plan routes, lunch & fuel stops, hotel accommodation etc.
• You need to be familiar with group riding, e.g. the 2ndperson drop system (attend a weekend social ride, if you'd like to get more familiar)
• A tour typically involves c.200 miles per day riding, you will need a bike that is comfortable and capable of making progress; min 600cc recommended
• The BAM tour schedule is usually published around October / November for the following year, and new tours may be added through the year.
